The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday arrested a Palestinian child near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil, Israeli media sources reported.
According to Israel Hayom newspaper, the IOF soldiers stationed at the entrance of the Ibrahimi Mosque arrested a Palestinian child after they searched him claiming that he was carrying a knife.
The child was taken to a nearby detention center for interrogation. No further information was given on the incident.
Dozens of Palestinians have been arrested or extra judicially killed over various allegations by the IOF at Israeli checkpoints in the Ibrahimi Mosque area.

Israeli soldiers demolished, on Tuesday morning, two Palestinian homes in Jabal al-Mokabber town, south of occupied East Jerusalem.
Media sources said dozens of soldiers, accompanied by employees of the City Council, invaded Khallet Abed area in Jabal al-Mokabber and demolished two homes owned by members of Shqeirat family.
They added that the demolitions were carried out under the pretext of being built without construction permits from the city council.
On Monday, the soldiers handed Jamal Ata Oleyyan, from the al-‘Isawiya town in Jerusalem, an order for the demolition of his home.
While Israeli continues to build and expand its illegal colonies in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, in direct violation of International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and various United Nations resolutions, it continues to deny the Palestinians the right to build homes on their own lands.
In related news, dozens of soldiers and police officers invaded Dari neighborhood, and the Schools area, in al-‘Isawiya, and fired many gas bombs at students, buildings and homes.
Medical sources said dozens of residents suffered the effects of teargas inhalation and received the needed treatment.

Palestine Prisoners’ Society (PPS) confirmed in a press release that Israeli forces detained Ahmad Qatamesh, 68, Monday night, after invading his house in Ramallah city.
Qatamesh, a political scientist, and university professor, is known for his writings and lectures, and was designated by Amnesty International as a prisoner of conscience.
Another Palestinian, identified as an undergraduate student enrolled in Birzeit University, was adbucted from the Ramallah city neighborhood of al-Irsal.
According to the PPS statement, another undergraduate student enrolled in Beirzeit University, a resident of Bethlehem district, was detained from his dormitory in al-Bireh city.
In the Ramallah district, Israeli forces stormed Silwad town, east of Ramallah, resulting in the detention of two Palestinians.
Another Palestinian was detained in a similar offensive in Beitunia city, west of Ramallah.
Meanwhile, 15 Palestinians were rounded up from Jerusalem district, from Beit Duqqu town, and Jerusalem neighborhoods of Issawiyeh, Ras al-Amoud and al-Tur.
In Bethlehem district, an Israeli military operation was conducted in Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, resulting in the detention of three Palestinians, including a 16-year-old minor.
In the meantime, PPS said that five Palestinians, including a 16-year-old disabled person, were detained from Hebron district.
Security sources identified two of the detainees as residents of Hebron city, two others as residents of Beit Ummar town, and another as a resident of Halhul town.
A similar predawn incursion was confirmed in Aqabat Jabr, a refugee camp situated to the southwest of Jericho city, resulting in the detention of one Palestinian.
Israeli forces frequently storm Palestinian homes, virtually on a daily basis across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering confrontations with residents.
These inhumane operations take place in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
According to Palestinian figures, roughly 5,700 Palestinians — including numerous women and children — are currently languishing in Israeli detention facilities.

Israeli soldiers abducted, Monday, three Palestinians from Silwan town, and the Old City, of occupied East Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted Rawhi Mahmoud al-Kolaghassi, 23, from his home in the Sa’adiyya neighborhood, in the Old City.
They added that undercover soldiers kidnapped Omar Amer Abu Madi, 18, and Mohammad Salah Abu Madi, 17, while walking in Ras al-‘Amoud neighborhood in Silwan, and took them to an unknown destination.
On Sunday, the soldiers abducted four Palestinians, including a former political prisoner, from the al-‘Isawiya town, in Jerusalem.

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Thursday at dawn, seven Palestinians from their homes in the Ramallah and al-Biereh Governorate, in central West Bank.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that the soldiers invaded Abu Shkeidim village, northwest of Ramallah, and abducted a young man, identified as Kamal Faisal Qindah, from his home.
It added that the soldiers abducted a teenage boy, identified as Mousa Issa Sharaka, in addition to Yousef Monther Alia, Jihad Abu Sbeih and Jihad Oleyyan, from their homes in the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted a teenage boy, identified as Suleiman Qatash, from his home in Yabrud village, east of Ramallah.
Another Palestinian, identified as Ala’ Ali Barghouthi, was abducted from his home in Kobar town, north of Ramallah.
It is worth mentioning that the invasions and abductions led to protests in several areas, especially in the al-Jalazoun refugee camp, Kobar, Abu Shkheidim and near Birzeit University.

Israeli forces today placed a 15-year-old injured minor under detention at the Ofer Detention Center, west of Ramallah.
The Prisoners’ Affairs Commission said in a statement that Hamza al-Hreimi, 15, was injured in the thigh from Israeli military gunfire as soldiers Tuesday night raided his family’s house to detain him in Beit Jala city, west of Bethlehem. He was later moved to an Israeli hospital for treatment.
The statement added that the Ofer Military Court is scheduled tomorrow to hold a hearing to extend al-Harimi’s detention.
Under the “administrative detention” order, Israel can imprison any Palestinian without charge or trial. The order is based on “secret evidence” that not even the lawyers of the accused have access to it.
Administrative detention is renewable every 3-6 months. In many cases, some Palestinians are incarcerated behind bars for years, without charge or trial.

According to local sources, clashes broke out between youths and Israeli soldiers during IOF campaigns in Qalqilya, Dura town in al-Khalil and al-Deheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem.
In al-Deheisheh camp, the IOF broke into and ransacked several homes and kidnaped two citizens identified as Yousef Izat and Yousef Saddouq.
Another citizen called Osaid Abu Libda was kidnaped from his home in Qalqilya.
In east Jerusalem, five Palestinian young men from the family of Obeid were taken prisoners and two others were summoned by the Israeli police following raids homes in Issawiya district.
Israeli police forces also stormed the house of martyr Firas Abu Nab in Ras al-Amud neighborhood of Silwan and kidnaped his father and four of his brothers. video
Nine others were kidnaped from their homes in other areas of the West Bank.

At dawn today, Wednesday, the occupation forces stormed the house of the Jerusalemite Martyr Fares Bassam Abu Nab in the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan, and arrested his father and three brothers after assaulting them.
Abu Salem Abu Nab –Martyr’s uncle - explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the intelligence and occupation forces stormed the house of the Martyr's family after they opened the doors of the house by force, and the family was surprised by the presence of the forces in the rooms of the house.
Abu Nab added that the occupation forces assaulted and pushed all those inside the house, including women, boys and young men, then the women were detained inside one of the rooms, and they arrested the father of the martyr Bassam Abu Nab, 52, and his siblings Yousef Abu Nab 14, Seif Abu Nab 17, and Mohammad Abu Nab, 20 years old.
Abu Nab explained that while he tried to enter to check on the condition of those inside the house, he was pushed and beaten.
He added that the occupation forces stormed the house of Issam Abu Nab in Al-Shayah neighborhood in Silwan, and arrested his son, Mahmoud Issam Abu Nab, 17 years old.
Fares Abu Nab was martyred on the 17thof last November, after he was shot at the tunnel checkpoint, south of Bethlehem.

Police also detained four Palestinians, a father and his three sons, after storming their house in Silwan neighborhood.
In Bethlehem district, a sizable Israeli military force rounded up two Palestinians in a raid that triggered confrontations in Duheisha refugee camp, south of Bethlehem city.
Soldiers opened fire on local youths who protested the raid, hitting two protestors with rubber-coated steel bullets. The casualties were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
In Ramallah district, a similar Israeli military raid was conducted in Mazari al-Nubani village, north of Ramallah city, resulting in the detention of a 15-year-old teen.
The teen’s father confirmed that his son was beaten up while handcuffed before being taken to the Ofer military detention center, west of Ramallah.
