A Palestinian youth was injured on Sunday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at the residents of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiyya village in Nablus.
Local sources said that violent confrontations broke out in the village after the IOF chased Palestinian schoolchildren on their way back home on Ramallah-Nablus road.
The IOF closed the eastern and northern entrances to the village for about three hours and fired tear gas bombs, stun grenades, and rubber-coated metal bullets at the Palestinians.

The Israeli occupation forces on Sunday afternoon arrested a Palestinian boy in al-Khalil city.
Local sources said that so-called Israeli border guards arrested a 14-year-old Palestinian boy at a military checkpoint near the Ibrahimi Mosque.

In pre-dawn raids Sunday morning in the southern part of the West Bank, Israeli forces raided the homes of ten Palestinians and took all ten from their beds, forcing them into military vehicles and taking them to unknown destinations for interrogation and detention.
The military abducted five Palestinians from the Bethlehem area, and five from the Hebron area.

Israeli forces took into custody some 380 Palestinians, including 5 women and 67 children, in January of 2019, the Palestinian Prisoners Center for Studies said on Saturday.
In a statement, the Center explained that Israeli forces detained 12 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, including 5 fishermen who were kidnapped while sailing off Gaza shore. One Palestinian youth was detained at Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing, and 6 others were taken while allegedly attempting to cross the border fence east of the Gaza Strip. During the same period, the Israeli occupation authorities issued 55 administrative detention orders, issuing 18 new ones and renewing the detention of 37 detainees for 2-6 months, Days of Palestine reports.

A Palestinian has teenager sustained multiple fractures in his legs after being assaulted by Israeli soldiers near Jenin city, in the northern West Bank, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC).
PRC official, Mahmoud Saadi, told WAFA that 17-year-old Majdi Abu-Ghali, from Jenin, was beaten severely, by Israeli soldiers, after he entered the site of the abandoned Israeli settlement of Ghanim, east of Jenin.
The teen was reportedly unaware of the Israeli soldiers who had raided the evacuated settlement, and was surprised by soldiers who shortly attacked and brutally beat him for no reason.
The teenager was moved to nearby Khalil Suleiman public hospital for medical treatment.
Israeli occupation forces have a long record of physically assaulting Palestinians while briefly detaining them. Earlier today, an Israeli court indicted five Israeli soldiers for beating two handcuffed and blindfolded Palestinian detainees.
According to the indictment, on a day in early January, the soldiers punched, slapped, kicked and beat the two detainees, hitting them in their head, face, chest, legs and more.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested on Tuesday afternoon a Palestinian minor at Jalama military checkpoint, north of Jenin, for allegedly holding an explosive device in his possession.
0404 Hebrew site claimed that Israeli soldiers rounded up a 17-year-old Palestinian after allegedly discovering a homemade explosive device hidden in his bag.
Other tools were also found in the bag, the sources added without revealing more details.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian woman was detained for “illegally residing” in occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian ID-holder was arrested in the Old City and immediately taken to a nearby police station for investigation, eyewitnesses reported.

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Monday opened fire on a school in the blockaded Gaza strip, injuring a Palestinian, according to local sources.
"The Mahdia Shawa School today came under fire which wounded employee Ramez Za'anin", the Ministry of Education in Gaza said.
Ministry official Ziad Thabet condemned the shooting, which, he said, was part of an ongoing Israeli policy to target Palestinian educational institutions.
The attack came in flagrant violation to international las and norms, he added.
He also called on international community to condemn the incident and to hold Israel accountable for its escalated crimes against the Gaza Strip.
Israel has stepped up attacks in Gaza, which claimed over 295 Palestinian lives in 2018, marking the highest death toll since the 2014 Gaza conflict, many of them were shot during the March of Return protests, amid a deterioration in the humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave.

Israeli forces detained at least nine Palestinians, including minors, on predawn Sunday, from the southern and central occupied West Bank districts of Bethlehem and Ramallah.
The Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) confirmed that Israeli forces detained three Palestinians in the Dheisheh refugee camp in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem.
The three detainees were identified as Saed Abu Hadroos, Shadi Abu Hadroos, and Muhammad Jalal Abu Hadroos.
PPS also confirmed that in the central West Bank district of Ramallah, six Palestinians were detained. They were identified as Muhammad Ali Ahmad Ali, 15, Anas Majed Abed al-Hafeth, 16, Muataz Salah al-Khuwaja, Muhammad Salah al-Khuwaja, Muhammad Hatem al-Khuwaja, and Ibrahim Srour.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,500 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, including 230 minors, 41 of whom under 16 years old.

A Palestinian father and his son were injured on Friday evening during a settler attack on al-Khalil.
Local sources said that dozens of armed Israeli settlers coming from Kiryat Arba settlement attacked Palestinian homes in Wad al-Hasin neighborhood in al-Khalil with rocks.
Hesham Abu Eseifan, 48, and his son Mohammed, 10, suffered wounds and bruises in the attack and were treated in the field.

A Palestinian child was critically injured on Friday afternoon after he was run over by an Israeli military jeep near Yatta town in al-Khalil.
The PIC reporter said that Saber al-Jabarin, 12, was kidnapped by the Israeli force riding the jeep that hit him.
Al-Jabarin was transferred to an Israeli hospital in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1948, he added.

Undercover Israeli soldiers invaded, on Thursday evening, Shu’fat refugee camp, in occupied Jerusalem, and shot a Palestinian child, causing life-threatening wounds.
Tha’er Fasfous, the spokesperson of Fateh Movement in Shu’fat, said the undercover soldiers chased four children while walking in Ras Khamis area in the refugee camp, and fired many live rounds at them, seriously wounding one of them.
He added that the child, identified as Mohammad Essam al-Qawasmi, 15, was shot with live fire in his back, and was rushed to Hadassah Medical Center, in a very serious condition.
Fasfous also started that, despite the serious wounds of the child, the soldiers chained him to his hospital bed, and added that the child was admitted to the surgery room.

The soldiers also fired many gas bombs, concussion grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets, in addition to several rounds of live ammunition, at Palestinian protesters in the al-Bawwaba area in al-Khader.
