Israeli soldiers abducted, earlier Thursday, at least fourteen Palestinians, including a father and his two siblings, in addition to a child who was supposed to celebrate his 12th birthday today, from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers abducted two Palestinians, both former political prisoners, identified as Bara’ Badra and Islam Nimir, from the al-Am’ari refugee camp, after the army broke into and searched several homes.
The soldiers also shot two Palestinians, one seriously, near the refugee camp, after the army opened fire at their car, reportedly when they rammed their jeep with the vehicle. The critically wounded Palestinian was moved to Shaare Zedek Israeli hospital.
In Jenin Governorate, in northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded and searched homes in Jaba’ town, and abducted Farid Mohammad Alawna, Ibrahim As’ad Fashafsha, and Ibrahim As’ad Baddad.
The soldiers also shot two Palestinian workers near the military gate, which was installed on lands belonging to Barta’a town, southwest of Jenin, as they were on their way to work.
In Tulkarem, also in northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded and searched homes, and abducted Hazem Yousef Fuqaha, 23.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded the al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, and abducted Odah Tayeh Issa, in his forties, in addition to his son, Ahmad, 19, who is also a former political prisoner, and his daughter, Dina, 20.
The father and his siblings were taken from their home in the Old City of al-Khader, after the soldiers invaded and searched it.
In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Akram Abdul-Qader Masalma, 26, from his home in Beit Awwa town, west of Hebron.

Joseph the patriarch is revered by Jews, Muslims, Christians, and Samaritans alike. The Israeli military allows Jews to visit as part of organized pilgrimages, despite the site being in Area A where the PA has full control and prohibits Muslims from worshiping at the site.
Ultra-orthodox and nationalist Jews regularly try to visit the shrine without approval, as many Jews believe the tomb to be the final resting place of the biblical figure in the Old Testament.
Palestinians believe that Joseph’s Tomb is the funerary monument to Sheikh Yousif Dweikat, a local religious figure.

Also in Jenin, the soldiers abducted two former political prisoners, identified as Ibrahim As’ad Baddad, and Farid Salim ‘Alawna, from their homes in Jaba’ town, south of Jenin.
The soldiers also invaded and searched homes in Azzoun town, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia.

The Israeli occupation police on Monday evening kidnaped two Palestinian young men from Issawiya district in east Jerusalem.
According to local sources, police forces stormed Issawiya and rounded up two young men identified as Nasrallah Mahmoud, 17, and Mohamed Dirbas, 23, during their presence near the Arba’ein Mosque.
The Israeli police in Jerusalem also banned seven Palestinians, including two women, from entering the Aqsa Mosque for many days.
Lawyer Khaled Zabarqa said the police arrested on Monday morning two women and five men when a Saudi soccer delegation visited the Aqsa Mosque, but later they released them after detaining them for some hours.
The detainees were also handed police orders preventing them from entering the Mosque for 15 days.

Media sources said the soldiers abducted Yousef Barrouq al-Aqra’. 18, after stopping him near the northern road of Qalqilia, in northern West Bank.
In addition, the soldiers abducted a young woman, identified as Mais Hanatsha, a student at Birzeit University, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah, after summoning her for interrogation.
The soldiers also abducted two children, identified as Mohammad Ahmad Hanani and Aref Nathir Hanani, in the al-Khirba neighborhood in Beit Forik town, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
In related news, the soldiers detained a young man, identified as Islam Mazen Eshteyya, after firing live rounds at him while driving his agricultural tractor near Beit Forik military roadblock, and released him shortly afterward.
Furthermore, the soldiers closed Ennab military roadblock, east of Qalqilia, and started searching Palestinian cars while inspecting the ID cards of the passengers and interrogating them.

Israel detained 514 Palestinians last month from all over the West Bank and Jerusalem, including 81 children and 10 women, prisoners’ advocacy groups said today.
The Prisoners Commission, the Prisoners Society and Addameer said in a joint statement that Israel detained 175 Palestinians from occupied Jerusalem, 54 from Ramallah district, 100 from Hebron district, 36 from Jenin district, 25 from Bethlehem district, 45 from the Nablus district, 21 from Tulkarm and 24 from Qalqilya.
In addition, five were detained from Toubas, eight from Salfit, 10 from Jericho and 11 from the Gaza Strip.
They said this brings the number of Palestinians held in Israeli prisons to 5000, among them 43 women and 200 children.
At the same time, the number of Palestinians held in administrative detention without charge or trial is around 450, while 101 new and renewed administrative detention orders were issued only last month.

A Palestinian child was injured on Tuesday evening by a tear gas canister fired by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during a raid on al-Janiya village west of Ramallah City.
Quds Press reported, quoting local sources, that the IOF stormed al-Janiya village amid heavy and random firing of tear gas canisters and stun grenades.
The local sources said that a child suffered various burns after he was hit by a tear gas canister while he was in his home's yard.
He was transferred to Palestine Medical Complex for treatment and his injuries were described as "moderate".

The Hebron office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), in southern West Bank, said the soldiers invaded and ransacked homes in several parts of the governorate, and abducted five Palestinians, identified as Ahmad Khader al-Hroub, Zayed Ali Khdeirat, Kayed al-Amayra, Karim Ibrahim Abu Mariya, and Ahmad Sleibi.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers repeatedly assaulted Ahmad Sleibi, and his brother, Ra’fat, before abducting Ahmad.
The soldiers also confiscated surveillance recordings and equipment from homes and shops in Hebron.
