Israeli soldiers invaded, on Saturday evening, a Palestinian home in the al-‘Isawiya town, in occupied East Jerusalem, and interrogated a child in the property, after alleging that she was filming them when some youngsters reportedly hurled stones at their jeep.
The child and her family were on the rooftop of their home barbecuing with relatives.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) interviewed the child after the soldiers left her home, and she told them that the soldiers started interrogating her and asking her if she saw who threw stones at them and if she filmed it on her phone.
The child, Sondos Omar Atiya, 12, denied the allegations of the soldiers, and that she was on the rooftop with her family and relatives barbecuing and socializing. video
“One of the soldiers was asking me if I was wearing a black shirt and filming them – he asked if I had a phone, or if I was using my brother’s phone – I said no,” she told Silwanic, “They kept questioning and interrogating me, asking whether I filmed anything or if I saw who threw stones at them… and my father told them that the family is just having some barbeque.”
The soldiers then examined several phones, and questioned her father, before leaving the property.

The Israeli occupation police on Saturday kidnaped a Palestinian child from a street in the east Jerusalem district of Issawiya.
According to local sources, police officers rounded up 16-year-old Mohamed Abul-Hems as he was walking home from school in Issawiya.
The officers took the child to one of the police stations in the holy city, but the reason for his detention is till unknown. video

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Friday evening, Safa area, north of Beit Ummar, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, abducted five Palestinians and confiscated one car.
Mohammad Ayyad Awad, a local nonviolent activist, said the soldiers stopped a Palestinian car transporting five Palestinians, including children, before confiscating the car and abducting the Palestinians.
He added that the abducted Palestinians have been identified as Mohammad Bassam Ekhlayyel, 16, Abdul-Aziz Mohammad Ekhlayyel, 17, Mohammad Nimir Ekhlayyel, 18, Abdullah Amjad at-Teet, 18, and Suleiman Mohammad Abu Dayya, 15.
The soldiers cuffed and blindfolded the five Palestinians and took them to Etzion military base and security center, north of Hebron.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, on Thursday at dawn, at least twenty-two Palestinians, including children, from their homes, in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
The PPS said the soldiers invaded and ransacked dozens of homes across the West Bank and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
The soldiers also installed roadblocks, before stopping and searching many cars, and interrogated scores of Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
In Jenin, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Nathmi Abu Zagha, Yousef Eshrein, Ahmad Sabah, Bassem Esteeti, Soheib Mer’ey, and Mohammad Hussein Manasra.
In Qalqilia, also in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mahdi Hashem Sabri, Abada al-Haj, Hamza ‘Oweinat, and Mohammad Kabeer.
In Nablus, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Dia’ Sbeitani, Raed Waheed and Yousef Hashash.

Khaled Abu Sharar, the head of the Hebron office of the Education Ministry in southern Hebron, said the soldiers ordered halting the construction of the school, located in the western part of the town.
Abu Sharar added that the school is close to the illegal Annexation Wall, which was built on Palestinian lands in the area.
There are thirty students in this school, and construction was underway to expand it to be able to provide the needed education to more children.
It is one of many Somoud and Tahadi Schools which were recently built by the Palestinian Education Ministry, and a few them have been demolished.

Also on Wednesday, the soldiers killed a Palestinian woman after she reportedly tried to stab them near Qalandia Terminal, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The IOF also stormed the house of MP Hatem Qafisha in al-Khalil and his relatives’ homes and handed him a summons for interrogation from the Shin Bet.
In Ramallah, the IOF broke into and ransacked a house in Deir Nidham village overnight, with no reported arrests.
