Israeli forces continued for the second day its closure of the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque. The forces barred of all the Jerusalemites under 50 from entering both holy sites.
Israeli troops deployed military barriers and reinforcements at the various districts of the Old City. All of the gates of al-Aqsa Mosque except for three were closed. Besides, a Palestinian worshiper got arrested from the inside of the mosque.
Around 20 settlers broke into al-Aqsa Mosque’s plazas from the Maghareba gate under tight security measures of Israeli forces. The worshipers chanted “Allah the Greatest” in response to settlers’ incursion.

Anonymous group at dawn Monday carried out an attack against Hassan Bek Mosque in northern Jaffa causing damage to the wall and glass of the mosque.
The attack culminated Israeli offensive practices against Muslims’ holy places especially the Aqsa Mosque and Occupied Jerusalem. It also coincided with the running clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces that led to the martyrdom of a number of Palestinians in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem.
Sheikh Mohammad Najm, Islamic Movement official in Jaffa, said the attack is part of the racist incitement campaign against Muslims and their holy sites. This includes settlers’ incursions into the Aqsa Mosque, political incitement, and the implementation of racist policies of attacking everything that belongs to Muslims and Arabs, he said.
The Islamic Movement official called on the Palestinians to stay alerted as the attacks on Muslims are getting stronger even though being done in front of the world.

Israeli authorities have issued a 48-hour ban on Palestinians from entering the Old City in occupied East Jerusalem, following two stabbing attacks in which two Israelis were killed and three injured at the site, an Israeli police spokesperson said.
The two Palestinians who allegedly committed the stabbing attacks were shot dead on scene in the separate incidents, hours apart.
Police spokesperson Micky Rosenfeld told Ma'an News Agency that the ban on Palestinians entering the Old City was put in place in order to "prevent any further incidents or attacks."
He said that extra police officers have been deployed across East Jerusalem.
An official in the Palestinian Authority Ministry of Endowment, which is responsible for the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, told Ma’an that more than 100 right-wing Jews toured the compound on Sunday morning escorted by Israeli officers, while Palestinians were banned.
Before the restriction on Palestinian entry was announced, Palestinian shop owners in the Old City declared a closure off all businesses at the request of Islamic and nationalistic factions and in protest against the recent escalations around the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
Meanwhile, clashes between Palestinian youth and Israeli forces elsewhere in occupied East Jerusalem continued.
In the East Jerusalem village of al-Issawiya, Israeli forces raided the home of Fadi Alloun, a 19-year-old who was allegedly responsible for Sunday morning's stabbing attack on a 16-year-old Israeli during the earliest hours of Sunday morning.
At the home, Israeli forces reportedly assaulted women with rods and police tasers, damaged furniture and seized seven mobile phones, family members said.
Alloun's aunt, Haifa Alloun, told Ma’an that the family rejected the accusation that her nephew had stabbed an Israeli teen before being shot dead by Israeli forces, saying Alloun was instead "targeted and killed in cold blood."
However the family of Mohannad Halabi, the young man responsible for Saturday's attack in which two ultra-orthodox Israelis were killed and two more wounded, including a 2-year-old child, accepted and praised Halabi's attack, calling him a "martyr" for Al-Aqsa.
The flashpoint Al-Aqsa Mosque compound has been the site of clashes for weeks, with Israeli forces repeatedly storming the holy site to clear way for Jewish worshipers during a series of Jewish holidays.
The most recent of these, the eight-day Sukkot festival, began on Sunday, and has seen severe restrictions imposed on Palestinians seeking to enter the compound.
Palestinians fear Israel is seeking to change rules governing the site, where Jews are allowed to visit, but not pray to avoid provoking tensions.
Last month's flareup prompted calls for restraint from both the United Nations and the United States, and a warning from Jordan, which has custodianship rights over Muslim holy places in Jerusalem under its 1994 peace treaty with Israel, that relations were on the line.
On Tuesday, Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas warned of the "risk of an intifada" if clashes over the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound continue.

Israeli Temple Mount Group called on Israeli settlers to continue their mass break-ins into al-Aqsa Mosque till the end of the week.
The group called for intensifying Israeli break-ins and presence at the compound till Thursday despite the end of Jewish holidays.
According to Jerusalemite analysis, such calls came as part of the Israeli plot to impose a spatial and temporal division at the holy shrine.
Over the past weeks, Israeli settlers have intensified their provocative break-ins into al-Aqsa compound under heavy police protection, raising tension in occupied Jerusalem and West Bank.
The Temple Mount Group is an extreme-right wing group that was organized in 1967 by a former officer in Israeli Occupation Army.

The Israeli occupation troops at dawn Sunday banned the Muslim worshipers aged below 50 from entering the holy al-Aqsa Mosque to perform dawn prayers in congregation.
Observers said such measures are aimed to crack down on the non-violent Muslim congregation with the advent of Jewish holidays.
Similar restrictions have been imposed on the peaceful Muslim congregation for seven days running.
Left with no other alternatives, the Muslim worshipers were forced to perform their dawn prayers at the Asbat Gate, amid heavy deployment of the occupation patrols.
The Israeli occupation army and police have cracked down on the peaceful Muslim sit-inners and worshipers at the holy al-Aqsa Mosque—the third holiest site in Islam, cordoning off such a sacred place of worship with military checkpoints and metal barriers in what analysts banded a barefaced attempt to hold sway over the Mosque and divide it, both spatially and temporally, between Muslims and Jews.

A large number of Israeli police forces on Saturday evening stormed the Qibli building of the Aqsa Mosque and forcibly evacuated all the Muslim worshipers from inside it.
The raid on the Mosque came a few minutes following a resistance attack, which resulted in the killing of two settlers in east Jerusalem.
During the raid, the Israeli police closed the road of Bab al-Asbat, which leads to the Aqsa Mosque, and intensified their presence in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Police troops also stormed al-Issawiya district, northeast of Jerusalem, and clashed with Palestinian young men there.
Two Jewish settlers were killed and three others suffered injuries on Saturday evening when a Palestinian young man used a knife and an Israeli-owned gun to carry out the attack.
The incident was hailed by Palestinian resistance factions as "heroic" and a "natural response to Israel's recent escalation of its violations against the Palestinians and the Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem."

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) imposed tight restrictions on Muslim worshipers’ access into al-Aqsa Mosque and decided to prevent men blew the age of 40 from performing Friday prayers there.
Meanwhile, large numbers of Israeli police forces were deployed since the morning hours near the Mosque to suppress any possible protests or clashes following the Nablus shooting operation late yesterday.
Only men above the age of 40 and women of all ages are allowed to have access into al-Aqsa compound, the Israeli police declared.
Since the early morning hours, Israeli forces erected make-shift checkpoints throughout the Old City and banned Muslim men aged below 50 from entering the holy al-Aqsa Mosque to perform dawn prayers in congregation.
In a serious precedent, Israeli forces stopped the Palestinian buses carrying hundreds of worshipers from different areas within the Green Line and prevented their access to occupied Jerusalem.
The worshipers were on their way to perform Friday prayers in al-Aqsa.
Israeli authorities, according to the worshipers, aim at completely isolating the occupied city of Jerusalem from the West Bank.

Coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the Palestinian Intifada (uprising), the Israeli Municipality in occupied Jerusalem organized Thursday “UrShalim march 2015” in the holy city amid large participation of thousands of colonial settlers and foreigners from 35 countries.
Nearly 60,000 Israelis are scheduled to flock into the occupied city of Jerusalem to participate in the march that would roam throughout its neighborhoods led by the city mayor Nir Barakat.
The march was seen by Jerusalemite activists as part of Israeli plot to take control over occupied Jerusalem and to assert its declaration as “the unified capital of Israel”.
Deputy Head of the Islamic Movement within the Green Line Sheikh Kamal al-Khatib said that al-Aqsa Mosque is still subjected to Israeli attacks and Judaization break-ins 15 years after the Palestinian Intifada broke out in protest at the then Israeli opposition leader Ariel Sharon’s "visit" to the holy shrine.
The Palestinian people, he added, are always the victim whether the Israeli Labor or Likud party is in power. "Our people, however, will never give up their rights", he asserted.
Deputy Head of the Movement stressed the importance of national unity to restore the Palestinian legitimate rights.

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday morning closed all the gates and entrances to the holy al-Aqsa Mosque, denying Muslim worshipers below the age of 50 the right to enter the holy site.
The Israeli occupation officers closed the al-Aqsa Mosque before the Muslim worshipers while providing a security shield to dozens of Israeli fanatics stationed at al-Aqsa Gates.
According to the head of manuscripts and heritage department at al-Aqa, Redwan Amr, the Israeli occupation soldiers have, since the early morning hours, cordoned off the al-Aqsa and its surroundings, banning Muslims below the age of 50 from entering the Mosque.
“Dozens of Israeli fanatics flocked to the entrances of the holy al-Aqsa Mosque and its vicinities in an attempt to pave the way for mass desecration break-ins,” the activist said.
He added that the Israeli occupation troops summoned reinforcement and intensified deployment at the Maghareba Gate in an attempt to secure the break-ins and crack down on the unarmed Muslim worshipers.
Amr said the fact that most of the entrance gates to al-Aqsa have been closed since the early morning hours is a manifestation of Israeli intents to divide the Mosque between the Muslim congregations and the Israeli fanatics, both spatially and temporally.
Over recent days, the occupation police and soldiers have come down heavily on the peaceful Muslim sit-inners and congregation at al-Aqsa Mosque—the third holiest site in Islam—in an attempt to hold sway over the Mosque and Judaize its typically Islamic identity.

Head of the Islamic Movement within the Green Line Sheikh Raed Salah said that Israeli recent threats against his Movement and sit-inners in al-Aqsa Mosque will not break their determination to defend their holy sites.
In a press statement, Sheikh Salah stressed that Palestinians will continue to sit-in at the Mosque compound despite Israeli restrictions and repressive measures.
He stressed the importance of intensifying the Palestinian presence in the holy shrine to foil any Israeli plot to impose a temporal and special division on al-Aqsa.
Regarding Israeli threats to the Islamic Movement’s leaders and activists, Sheikh Salah pointed out that Israeli leaders believe that “the movement leaders are responsible for incitement and terrorism in occupied Jerusalem.”
"They threatened us with administrative detention to deter our activities", he continued. “However, these threats will never break our will and determination to defend al-Aqsa Mosque.”
"We are ready to sacrifice our souls in defense of al-Aqsa", he said.

Arab member of the Israeli Knesset Jamal Zahalka described the Israeli settlers who routinely broke into al-Aqsa Mosque as “racists and fascists”.
“Crazy criminals, you’re all Kahanists, fascists, racists, get out of here, you hurt Muslims,” he told a group of Israeli settlers inside the Mosque.
Zahalka was referring to the late Rabbi Meir Kahane, a mentor of the Jewish ultra-nationalist cause, whose Kach movement was banned as a terror organization in both Israel and the US, Israeli media sources said.
A police officer at the scene stood between Zahalka and the group, at which point the MK told him, “Why are you letting them in? It’s a disgrace; only to hurt Muslims’ feelings. This is not yours, get out of here, go home, you’re not wanted.”
Tight Israeli restrictions have been imposed since the early morning hours on Muslims’ access into the holy site, while settlers were allowed in.
Reacting to Zahalka’s statement, Knesset member Oron Hazan called on the attorney-general to put Zahalka on trial for “assaulting Jews and police.”
For his part, Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel (Jewish Home party) called on the Israeli prime minister and the public security minister to prohibit the entry of Arab MKs into the compound.

The events that al-Aqsa Mosque witnesses these days, which coincide with the 15th anniversary of the al-Aqsa intifada, are the same as those that happened from the day one of the Palestinian intifada, which was triggered by the former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s “visit” to the holy Islamic site.
Observers believe that the similarity of practices and events means that the Israeli occupation's policy has not changed, but has exacerbated in intensity and frequency; as the break-in of more than 300 component of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) into al-Aqsa Mosque, and the assaults on worshipers by beating them, firing sound bombs and rubber bullets at them and forcing them out of its precincts, prove that the ambitions of the Zionist establishment in the Mosque are on the rise.
Although the Israeli occupation forces have imposed many arrangements including: preventing Palestinians who are under fifty years from entering al-Aqsa Mosque over the past few days, as well as conducting repressive measures inside al-Aqsa and its environs, in order to secure the incursions of settlers during their religious occasions, the IOF was unable to secure much settlers to storm al-Aqsa Mosque in the morning period, which lasts from 7:30 until 11:00 am.
Armored wall
In a bold and unprecedented move, Israeli forces used an armored wall in al-Aqsa Mosque, and installed it by the entrance of the funerals prayer hall –one of the Al-Qibli mosque doors-. The Israeli soldiers used the wall to hide behind it for protection then showered the worshipers inside the Qibli place of worship with rubber bullets and sound bombs.
The occupation forces had used electric excavators to destroy the eastern and the upper windows of the Qibli place of worship, which smashed old antique windows, so as to snipe the sit-inners inside the mosque.
The occupation forces not only smashed some windows of the mosque, but also damaged some parts of the doors when they fitted iron chains into those doors, to be used to lock the worshipers inside the Qibli place of worship.
The pattern of the IOF invasion into al-Aqsa Mosque this time was not similar to the incursions al-Aqsa witnessed before; as the soldiers have burst into the Mosque from the Maghareba Gate and the al-Silsila Gate and were deployed in all areas of the holy compound.
The Israeli snipers climbed over the rooftops of the western portico of the al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as the roof of the Qibli place of worship and they started along with the soldiers who had gathered at the Gate of Funerals to attack the worshipers with sound bombs and rubber bullets, causing 22 injuries 3 of which were transferred to the hospital while the others were treated on the field, according to ambulance crews.
The occupation forces assaults have affected also the Muslim worshipers whom they prevented from entering al-Aqsa Mosque, by mounting barriers on its gates. The assaults resulted in injuring dozens by shrapnel of sound bombs. The injured were treated on the field.
The attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation forces did not spare the Jerusalemite journalists; the IOF prevented those who were inside the al-Aqsa Mosque from filming the events and forced them out of it, while they beat and fired sound bombs on those who were in the Mosque’s vicinity, among them were the photographer-journalists Rami al-Khatib and Mohammad Ashu, and the field researcher Ahmad Soub-laban.
To unload the surrounding of al-Aqsa Mosque of the Muslims, the occupation forces chased six buses that carried Palestinians from the 1948 occupied areas who were at the Damascus Gate area, pursued the Palestinians inside them and chased them, they also issued driving offences to the buses' drivers under false pretenses, aiming at preventing them from reaching al-Aqsa Mosque.

Dozens of Israeli fanatics, led by coordinator of Israel’s so-called temple mount organizations, Arnon Segal, broke into Muslims’ holy al-Aqsa Mosque early Wednesday morning.
A horde of Israeli fanatics stormed holy al-Aqsa Mosque at the early morning hours while an Israeli army chopper was hovering at a low altitude over the holy site.
According to the head of the heritage and manuscripts department at al-Aqsa, Radwan Amr, the Israeli occupation police have been chasing down the male and female Muslim sit-inners at al-Aqsa, forcing them out of the Mosque in such a remarkably aggressive manner.
Local sources told the PIC that the Israeli occupation officers attacked the al-Aqsa supervision personnel and threatened to arrest them at the Maghareba Gate.
A Muslim girl was kidnapped from al-Aqsa plazas after she was heavily beaten by the Israeli occupation soldiers.
Over recent days, the Israeli occupation forces and vandals stepped up sacrilegious assaults on the holy al-Aqsa Mosque—the third holiest site in Islam—and tightened military grip around the necks of the peaceful Muslim sit-inners who have been maintaining vigil at the Mosque.
166 Settlers Raid Al-Aqsa
Israeli forces have continued the tight siege and restrictions imposed on Al-Aqsa Mosque and banned Palestinian worshippers from entering the mosque, for the third day in a row.
For the third day in a row, Israeli occupation police have been heavily deployed near Al-Aqsa gates, the Old City and near Al-Buraq Wall. They also locked all the mosque gates except for three, which are Al-Silsila gate, Hutta and Al-Majles gates.
Forces prevented the entry of all people under the age of 50 to Al-Aqsa, and seized IDs, the media coordinator of Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem affairs center, Mahmoud Abu Atta, reported.
According to Al Ray, Israeli special forces detained a Palestinian woman inside Al-Aqsa mosque, after brutally assaulting her. The woman was taken to Al-Silsila police center for interrogation. They also detained another woman and young man in front of Al-majles gate, while they searched the bags of the religious schools students before they entered the mosque.
Around 166 Israeli settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the morning, from Al-Maghriba Gate and guarded by tight police forces, touring in different parts of the mosque yards.
Abu Atta also explained that worshipers confronted the incursions of settlers with Takbeer chaniting,, preventing them performing their Talmudic prayers at the mosque.
In a related context, Palestinian women continued their presence near the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially near Al-Silsila gate, protesting against preventing them entering the mosque.
It is noteworthy that since the start of the Jewish holidays in the 13th of September, Al-Aqsa mosque was exposed to a systematic series of incursions and attacks by Israeli settlers and occupation forces, amid tight restrictions imposed on the worshipers, in an attempt to fully control the mosque and partition it temporally and spatially.
