Israeli officers escorted by two of the Israeli archeology authority along with 20 settlers stormed and toured the plazas of al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday amid confrontation of Muslim sit-inners.
Quds Press revealed that Israeli police banned the construction employees of the Islamic endowment management from completing their work of repairing water pipes inside the Mosque and detained the engineer Bassam al-Hallak.
The manager of al-Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Omar al-Kiswani condemned the Israeli ceaseless disturbance of the work of the endowment at al-Aqsa.
Israeli forces prevent the employees of construction works at al-Aqsa from completing their work unless they get the approval of the Israeli officer. Israel usually delays or prevents any renovation under false pretexts.
Israeli police summoned Hadil al-Rajabi,12-year-old, from the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem to be questioned on Wednesday morning in al-Qashale investigation center in the city.
The police also banned the Jerusalemite man Akram al-Shurafa and a female sit-inner, Hanadi al-Helwani, from travelling abroad for about one month.

A horde of Israeli fanatic settlers, escorted by police officers, stormed on Monday morning the plazas of Muslims’ the holy al-Aqsa Mosque.
The break-in was carried out via the Maghareba Gate under heavy shield by Israeli special troops and rapid intervention forces.
The Israeli soldiers have also come down heavily on the young Muslim worshipers, seizing their IDs at the gates of al-Aqsa.
The peaceful Muslim worshipers kept chanting “Allah is the Greatest” in protest at the desecrating break-in.
A group of Muslim women maintained vigil outside of al-Aqsa after they were banned from entering the Mosque to perform their religious prayers.
Over recent weeks, Israeli fanatics and soldiers have stepped up assaults on the al-Aqsa Mosque, sparking further tensions across the occupied Palestinian territories.

The coalition of the temple mount organizations on Sunday urged Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu to have the temple candelabrum (Menorah) lighted inside the Dome of the Rock Mosque.
Head of the coalition Aviad Visoly told a Hebrew radio station that placing the menorah in the temple hall would confirm the Jews' right to worship at the temple mount.
Visoly claimed that followers of other religions are allowed to pray at the Aqsa Mosque without restrictions, while the Jews have been deprived of this right since 2,000 years.
He added that erecting the menorah inside the temple would be the first step that would lead to radical changes in this regard.
In a related context, the coalition on Sunday evening held a conference to discuss the construction of the temple in place of the Dome of the Rock Mosque and the rituals of lighting the menorah in the temple during the Hanukkah holiday.

Clashes broke out in Nablus at dawn Monday between dozens of local youths and Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) after hundreds of Jewish settlers stormed Youssef tomb, east of the city, under the army protection.
A PIC reporter quoted eyewitnesses as saying that Israeli buses and cars carrying hundreds of Jewish settlers stormed the city from Awarta checkpoint, accompanied by large numbers of Israeli military vehicles.
Clashes erupted when the Israeli soldiers fired tear gas bombs into Palestinian houses, which led to a number of suffocation cases among the Palestinian youths who responded by throwing stones and empty bottles.
A number of homes were also stormed and searched in the area including an ex-detainee’s home.
Eight Palestinians including a child were detained during the Israeli raid into the city.

A Palestinian report said that Jerusalem Intifada succeeded in limiting Israeli settlers’ break-ins into al-Aqsa Mosque during Hanukkah Holiday (also known as the Festival of Lights) in comparison to last year’s festival.
367 Israeli settlers stormed the Mosque over the past week under heavily-armed police protection marking the Hanukkah festival, Quds Press documented in its report.
Israeli Jewish organizations have earlier called for escalating settlers’ break-ins into al-Aqsa Mosque over the past week that coincides with the Jewish Festival of Lights.
Head of Palestinian worshipers committee in al-Aqsa, Youssef Mukhmar, pointed out that Israeli authorities have allowed limited settlers’ presence in the Mosque for fear of escalating the situation that already reached a high level of tension.
For his part, media official of Waqf department in al-Aqsa, Firas Dubas, said that 500 Israeli settlers broke into al-Aqsa Mosque during the seven-day holiday of Hanukkah last year; however, in 2015 only 381 settlers stormed the holy shrine during the Jewish holidays.

Dozens of worshipers confronted 78 settlers who stormed al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday morning from the Magharbeh gate under the protection of Israeli forces.
Organizations of students and women for the Temple launched calls for massive incursions into the Muslims’ holy site in celebrations of Chanukah Jewish holiday and the beginning of the Hebrew month. Meanwhile, Muslim worshipers rushed to the Mosque despite severe cold and heavy rain.
Israeli police threatened worshipers with bans from al-Aqsa on Monday. Jewish settlers also took photos for them in order to incite Israeli police to penalize them.
The worshipers proudly and steadfastly defended al-Aqsa Mosque and confronted intruding settlers, emphasizing that al-Aqsa Mosque will remain for Muslims only and that they will not allow the Israeli project aiming at its division.
Israeli forces are still imposing restrictions on women’s entry to the holy site by confiscating their IDs and blacklisting them in what has been known as “the Blacklist”.

Dozens of Israeli fanatic settlers flocked to Jerusalem streets on Thursday night, calling for ruining Muslims’ holy al-Aqsa Mosque and establishing the alleged temple in its place.
Over 40 Israeli settlers gathered near Bab al-Khalil in Occupied Jerusalem and lifted banners calling for destroying the al-Aqsa Mosque and building the alleged temple.
The rally kicked off following calls by Israel’s Return to Temple Mount Organization to mobilize mass-support for the destruction of the al-Aqsa and to pressure the occupation government to build the "third temple".
The rally-goers headed to the al-Aqsa Mosque and lit the menorah on the fifth day of the Jewish Hanukkah (Festival of Lights).
The Israeli settlers also performed a series of provocative rituals, including dances and chants calling for "death to Arabs".
The occupation troops who escorted the marchers forced Palestinian shopkeepers to shut down their stores.
Clashes flared up, meanwhile, in Bab Hitta, in the Old City of Jerusalem, where Israeli policemen attacked the Palestinian protesters with stun grenades.

Member of Israeli Knesset, Dr. Ahmad Tibi, warned of the dire consequences that could emerge should U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump decide to invade, along with Israeli officials and soldiers, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in occupied Jerusalem.
Dr. Tibi said that Trump, who will be flying to Tel Aviv later this month, is planning to head to the mosque after his arrival, and warned that such a provocative act only aims at creating further tension, and violence.
“The Muslims, the Jerusalemite Palestinians, will prevent him from entering the mosque,” he said, “Every decent human being, every believer in justice and equality should prevent this racist person from invading the mosque.”
As for statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding his intentions to welcome Trump, Tibi said, “Netanyahu’s racist ideology matches that of Trump, and “it is not surprising that Netanyahu, and various racist Israeli politicians, including Knesset members, are eager to meet him.”
On his part, Netanyahu confirmed his intentions to meet Trump as scheduled on December 28, although many Israeli members of Knesset have urged him to rescind the invitation.
On its Twitter account, Netanyahu’s office said he “rejects Trump’s statements about Muslims,” but also said that Tel Aviv “is fighting terrorism that threatens the world, and targets Jews, Muslims and Christians alike.”

A solidarity convoy was launched by the Moroccan Commission to Support the Nation’s Causes on December 6 and 7 as part of intents to prop up Morocco’s support for the holy al-Aqsa Mosque and the anti-occupation Jerusalem Intifada.
The commission chairman, Abdul Samad Fathi, warned of the threats overwhelming the al-Aqsa Mosque from all directions and Israel’s relentless attempts to desecrate it and divide it both spatially and temporally.
Fathi stressed the historical importance of Occupied Jerusalem and its Islamic places of worship for the Moroccan communities across all times and places.
He called on for intensifying pro-Palestine campaigns and solidarity events.
A series of pictures featured in an exhibition staged by the commission on the horrendous Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, including field executions, mass-genocides, and cold-blooded slaughter of women and children.

A rally was staged by Israel’s Return to Temple Mount Organization on Tuesday evening in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem to mark the third anniversary of the group’s founding, which coincides with the Jewish Festival of Lights—Hanukkah.
A series of rituals were performed during the celebration, including lighting the third Hanukkah candle at 7 p.m. near the Maghareba Gate and a study-day on the alleged temple.
Meanwhile, other so-called temple mount organizations stepped up calls for mass break-ins at Muslims’ the al-Aqsa Mosque and expressed hope, as they lit Hanukkah candles near the holy mosque, that the menorah would someday be lit inside of al-Aqsa.
A picture propagated on social media networks by the alleged temple groups showed a menorah, instead of the crescent, installed on the al-Aqsa and the Dome of the Rock, in an obvious attempt to Judaize the mosque.
Israel’s deputy war minister Eli Ben-Dahan, escorted by police officers and members of Ateret Cohanim settlement group, also lit the Hanukkah candle in Rabat al-Kurd, adjacent to the al-Aqsa’s western wall, dubbing it a motif of Israeli sovereignty over Occupied Jerusalem.

Hordes of Israeli extremist settlers, escorted by police officers, stormed on Tuesday morning the plazas of Muslims’ the holy al-Aqsa Mosque via the Maghareba Gate.
The break-ins fall in line with the calls recently launched by so-called temple mount organizations to desecrate the al-Aqsa Mosque on the occasion of the Jewish Hanukkah (Festival of Lights) that started Sunday and set to end Thursday.
Israel’s so-called trustees of the temple organization launched calls for a mass-rally from Jerusalem’s Old City to the Maghareba Gate on Tuesday at the same time as settlement groups stepped up calls for mass break-ins at al-Aqsa to mark the third inception of the return to the mount organization.
Meanwhile, a video propagated by the return to temple organizations has called for ruining Muslims’ the holy al-Aqsa Mosque on the occasion of the Hanukkah.
The video shows scenes of four Israeli settlers wearing clothes of ancient Israeli fighters, headed by an Israeli who holds a gun and calls for destroying the al-Aqsa Mosque.
Another scene featuring in the video showed the al-Aqsa guards being slain by the four Israelis.

Hordes of fanatic Israelis flocked to the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil to mark the Hanukkah Festival of Light.
A series of Talmudic rituals and racist slogans calling for “death to Arabs” was performed across the alleys of al-Khalil’s Old City, in the southern West Bank.
Reporting from al-Khalil, a PIC news correspondent said the settlers prevented the Muslim worshipers from calling for Maghrib (sunset), Isha'a (evening), and Fajr (dawn) prayers and prevented other worshipers from reaching the Mosque.
The fanatic Israelis kept partying overnight and until dawn time, the PIC journalist said, adding that the celebration culminated in the arrival of the extremist rabbi Yehuda Glick who lit the candle of the Hanukkah.
The Israeli settler hordes further attacked Palestinian civilian homes before they suddenly backtracked from the area.

The International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) slammed on Monday Israel’s mounting aggressions on the holy al-Aqsa Mosque and the peaceful Muslim congregation, expressing its unyielding support for the male and female sit-inners maintaining vigil at the al-Aqsa.
A statement by the IUMS condemned the cold-blooded field executions carried out by the Israeli occupation army against Palestinian women and children.
The IUMS also spoke out against the arbitrary home demolitions and attacks on the families of Palestinian anti-occupation prisoners’ and activists.
The union expressed its rejection of Israel’s ban on the Islamic movement in 1948 Occupied Palestine and the confiscation of its properties.
The union called for mass support for the Palestinian people and condemnation of Israeli crimes.
The group further slammed the Israeli siege on Gaza, dubbing it a crime against humanity and an infringement on Palestinians rights to live in dignity
The IUMS called on the Palestinian factions to pool resources and work on the establishment of unified institutions both nationwide and overseas.
In a related context, the IUMS denounced the conspiracies being currently weaved against the Muslim nation, saying they rather make part of a preplanned plan of mass-genocide, and called for restoring Muslims’ rights to decide on their fate.
“We call on everybody to avoid sectarian and religious conflicts… and to rather unite to face the shared challenges confronting the nation, most notably the Israeli occupation,” member of the IUMS, Dr. Muhsen Abdul Hameed, told the Quds Press.
Political bureau head of Hamas Khaled Mishaal joined, meanwhile, a workshop organized by the IUMS on the sidelines of the third meeting of the fourth session of the IUMS’s Board of Trustees.
Mishaal hailed the world scholars, saying they are always in the lead of the Palestinian national struggle.

In a controversial move, Knesset member Moti Yogev from the Israeli right-wing party Jewish Home has re-submitted on Thursday a bill that would ban Adhan (prayer call) over loudspeakers.
Yogev claimed the five daily public prayer calls are disruptive and negatively affect the quality of life of non-Muslim residents living near Muslim neighborhoods, villages and cities in Israel.
“Hundreds of thousands of Israelis in the Galilee, Negev, Jerusalem, Tel, Aviv, Jaffa and central Israel routinely suffer from the calls of the muezzin,” the bill states.
In a similar step, MK Robert Olaitov, from the right wing Yisrael Beiteinu party, submitted last year a bill to the Knesset urging the abolition of Adhan through loudspeakers.
Two years ago, Israeli Knesset member Anastasia Michaelli had submitted draft legislation to the Knesset to stop the Adhan being recited through loudspeakers.

Vice President of the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs, Hasan Yilmaz, declared during his visit to Gaza the start of the Turkish campaign to rebuild and restore the mosques that were destroyed during Israel’s recent aggression.
During the opening of al-Safa Mosque in Bureij refugee camp in the central of Gaza, Yilmaz said that his visit came with the aim of laying the foundation stone of the Turkish project of Gaza mosques reconstruction that was earlier declared during the Turkish Religious Affairs Minister Muhammad Kormaz’s visit to the Strip a month ago.
"We are proud of the Palestinian heroic resistance and strong steadfastness in front of the Israeli enemy", he said during the opening ceremony.
Yilmaz stressed the importance and sacredness of occupied Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque for the Islamic nation.
He also pointed to the Turkish people’s strong support for the Palestinian cause and people.
The Turkish Ministry for Religious Affairs works at developing Muslim religious tourism to occupied Jerusalem through organizing trips for Turkish pilgrims to the occupied city before heading to Makkah.
For his part, Dr. Ahmed Baher, first deputy speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council, expressed his gratitude to the Turkish authorities and people for their political and financial support for the Palestinian people.
He also thanked the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his positive position in support of the ongoing Jerusalem Intifada.
The first phase of the Turkish campaign includes the reconstruction of nine demolished mosques with a coast of $ 4.7 million.
During the three Israeli aggressions on Gaza, 110 mosques were totally destroyed while 436 others were partially demolished.

Israeli so-called temple mount organizations announced their intent to launch mass break-ins at Muslims’ the holy al-Aqsa Mosque to mark the Festival of Lights—Hanukkah.
Addressing dozens of its fanatic backers on social media networks, the organizations launched calls for mass sacrilegious break-ins from 2 to 10 December.
A set of desecration rituals and sermons on the counterfeit history of the alleged temple mount are expected to be performed all along the event.
A candlelight march is also set to sweep Jerusalem’s Old City during Muslims’ evening prayers at al-Aqsa to push for the destruction of such a sacred place of worship and for the establishment of the alleged temple.
The campaign falls in line with the striking surge in Israeli aggressions on Muslims’ al-Aqsa Mosque—the third holiest site in Islam—in an attempt to wipe out its typically Islamic character and hold sway over it.
