The so called Israel Nature and Parks Authority on Wednesday has separated a part of Bab al-Rahma Muslim cemetery in Occupied Jerusalem, which is adjacent to al-Aqsa Mosque’s eastern wall, for the establishment of a “national park”.
The construction of the park goes in line with the Israeli plan being implemented in the vicinity of the historic wall of Jerusalem, aiming at changing the Islamic features of the city.
The people of Silwan town objected this violation and confronted Israeli teams more than once since the cemetery is an Islamic Waqf (endowment) property. It is one of the oldest graveyards in Palestine where dozens of scholars, martyrs and religious men are buried.

Israel’s alleged temple mount organizations have launched calls for stepping up sacrilegious break-ins at Jerusalem’s al-Aqsa Mosque—the third holiest site in Islam.
A hashtag reading “2,000 on the Jerusalem Day” has been launched by Israeli fanatics on the occasion of the so-called “reunification of Jerusalem”, referring to the day when Israel grabbed hold over the city following the notorious 1967 Six-Day War, which culminated in the displacement of thousands of Palestinians from their homes, in what is commonly referred to as the Nakba.
The Israeli organizations also distributed leaflets urging the Israeli masses to gradually intensify presence at al-Aqsa Mosque.

Israeli police on Wednesday morning allowed female settlers wearing Bat Mitsvah dresses to desecrate Jerusalem’s al-Aqsa Mosque—the third holiest site in Islam.
On Sunday Israel’s alleged temple mount organizations allowed an extremist Israeli girl wearing a Jewish wedding dress to storm al-Aqsa Mosque and perform sacrilegious rituals.
On July 29, 2015 Israeli police prevented extremist settlers from carrying out such rituals at al-Aqsa. One day later, Israel’s so-called Women for the Temple Organization rallied outside the Maghareba Gate to call for lifting the ban on such celebrations at al-Aqsa.
Reaching the age of bar or bat Mitzvah signifies becoming a full-fledged member of the Jewish community with the responsibilities that come with it. These include eligibility to be called to read from the Torah and lead or participate in a minyan; the right to possess personal property and to be married according to Jewish law.

Dozens of Jewish settlers on Monday swarmed the Palestinian archeological site of Sebastia town, northwest of Nablus, under military protection.
Mayor of Sebastia Mohamed Azem said that an Israeli military force stormed the town, cordoned off the archeological area, and prevented local residents from approaching it before about 100 settlers entered the area and performed rituals at the site.
Azem noted that skirmishes took place between school students from the town and Israeli soldiers, who fired tear gas and stun grenades to disperse them.
He told Quds Press that the Israeli occupation regime persistently targets the archeological site of Sebastia and refuses to allow the Palestinian side to carry out renovations and repairs to the place at the pretext that it is located in an Israeli-controlled area.

Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed on Monday morning Jerusalem’s al-Aqsa Mosque—the third holiest site in Islam—via the Maghareba Gate.
A horde of 150 Israeli settlers, escorted by policemen, broke into al-Aqsa Mosque as part of the morning break-in shift and carried out a round of sacrilegious tours.
At the same time, the peaceful Muslim worshipers have been subjected to tough crackdowns and restrictions by the Israeli police near the main entrances to the site. Several worshipers have been searched and dozens more have had their IDs seized while attempting to enter al-Aqsa to perform their daily prayers.
According to the Islamic Awqaf Department, Israeli cops closed off the Maghareba Gate following the break-in.
Israeli policemen also summoned the Muslim guard at al-Aqsa Mahdi al-Abassi to questioning at the Qishleh detention center in Jerusalem’s Old City.

Eyewitnesses said three traffic signs reading “US Embassy” in English, Hebrew, and Arabic have been set up in Occupied Jerusalem.
The signposts were placed near a building run by the US consulate south of Occupied Jerusalem, which will reportedly serve as the temporary headquarters of the US embassy, slated to be inaugurated on May 14.

Dozens of Israeli settlers defiled al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday morning amid heavy police presence.
Quds Press reported that 57 settlers, escorted by a large number of Israeli policemen, entered the Mosque through al-Maghareba Gate.
The news agency said that the settlers roamed the courtyards of al-Aqsa Mosque, performed Talmudic rituals and received presentations on the history of the alleged "Temple Mount".
The Israeli police have recently tightened the restrictions imposed on the Palestinians visiting al-Aqsa Mosque especially in the morning hours. The police usually confiscate their IDs to make sure they do not stay in the Mosque for a long time, and arrest those who confront settlers' provocative break-ins.
More settlers are expected to visit al-Asa Mosque later in the day since the Israeli police have allowed another round of incursions in the afternoon.

Maariv newspaper on Friday morning reported that US president Donald Trump's new peace plan would include Israel giving the Palestinian Authority (PA) four of Jerusalem's Arab neighborhoods.
The Hebrew newspaper said that the plan was revealed to Israel's War Minister Avigdor Lieberman during his latest visit to Washington and it includes giving Shu'fat, Jabal al-Mukaber, al-Isawiya, and Abu Dis neighborhoods to the PA.
These neighborhoods would form the capital of a future Palestinian state, the paper added.
The US plan, known as the deal of the century, has been revealed so far to senior Israeli officials only. According to Maariv, the US expects Israel to accept the plan and the "painful concessions" it entails.
The plan does not include Jerusalem's Old City which will be recognized as an international territory.
Maariv noted that the US has pledged unconditional support for Israel on the political and military levels in case a war breaks out between Israel and Iran.
A French diplomat told the London-based Asharq al-Awsat newspaper that Trump's plan includes the establishment of a Palestinian state on the ruins of 40% of the West Bank with East Jerusalem (the four neighborhoods) as its capital.
He added that it is likely that giving up the four neighborhoods is the first stage of the implementation of the US plan.

Israeli settlers are often caught as desecrating holy sites and vandalizing Palestinian property across the occupied territories. However, they hardly, if ever, get prosecuted by the Israeli forces and authorities.

Jerusalem’s Grand Mufti, Sheikh Mohammed Husain, condemned Israel’s incessant attacks on the Muslim cemetery of Bab al-Rahma, adjacent to the eastern wall of al-Aqsa Mosque—the third holiest site in Islam.
Sheikh Husain said such the increasing Israeli assaults against Bab al-Rahma Cemetery make part of a preplanned agenda by the Israeli government to smash headstones and violate the sanctity of Muslim dead bodies.
The mufti said the increasing break-ins by the Israeli forces and settlers into the cemetery amount to a dangerous escalation and come as part of the simmering Israeli terrorism against Islamic holy sites in Occupied Jerusalem.
He warned that such violations aim at wiping out the city’s Islamic identity, cultural heritage, and geo-historical character.
Husain also condemned the arbitrary bans issued by the occupation authorities against the Muslim guards at al-Aqsa Mosque, urging the international community and human rights institutions, namely UNESCO, to take serious action in response to such Israeli aggressions and to pressurize the Israeli government to abide by international resolutions.
